When first setting foot on the beach, you hear a couple of rowdy (and drunk) Halflings spending a recreational afternoon on its shores:

• Challenge them to a drink-off:
  • Outperform them and gain their favor.
  • Be drunk under the table and gain their apologies.
• Challenge them to a sing-off:
  • Outperform their ballad of the Immortal Knight and gain their friendship.
  • Be received poorly and be subject to their heckling.
• Direct them home:
  • Dodge their blows and gain their respect.
  • Be hit and gain a bruise.

They report floating objects on Long Tooth Island and offer you their boat as transportation to it.

If you ask about Esther Dunegrass or Giant Trolls, they will reply they have spent most of their day under a boat and do not know much about either.

The Giant Troll cave where Urka and Songak have been taking care of Esther Dunegrass is later found on the north end of the beach.

You find an Imp trapped inside a magic bottle buried in the sand:

• Free it, and win the Imp's thanks.
• Haggle with it, and come out a little richer.
