A young child, Esther is green to the world and its prejudices, befriending the Giant Trolls the adults have labeled as “other” without hesitation;

Esther is reported missing upon first arriving at the Halfling town of Jolev. After tracking down the cave of the Giant Troll, Esther is found, sick with fever;

Sneaking up to the cave and peeking in, you see a young Halfling girl lying on the cave floor. She appears weak, suffering from some curse or illness. - Taron's Trophy (RPA-ADV2)

Depending on prior interactions with Urka and the events that transpire at the cave with Songak, you will further establish yourself as a loyal member of the King's Guard or become more sentimental to the Dragul. When Esther is returned safely home to Jolev, the town healer is able to cure her, and the joviality of the town is restored.

You find a pieced-together family tree on the wall in the Dunegrass family farm with the names Ondal and Esther.
