Giant Troll partner to Urka and caretaker of Esther Dunegrass.

She is first met in a cave hideaway, tending a fire while preparing food and awaiting Urka's return.

Songak is equally as maternal to Esther Dunegrass as her partner Urka, but is also ready to defend herself if she feels threatened;

They have been kind, Esther says, but she doesn’t speak their tongue well enough to explain her situation.

The Troll seems just as surprised to see you. Then her surprise turns to horror as she recognizes the purplish hue of Troll's blood that stains your clothes and armor. She grabs her spear and stands between you and young Esther. - Taron's Trophy (RPA-ADV2)

You eventually make your way to Urka's cave, where Songak awaits her:

• If you fought Urka and slayed her, Songak will lash out upon seeing her blood on you.
• If you fought Urka and she got away, the two Giant Trolls will lash out upon the threat of your arrival.
• If you befriended Urka, the two will show you to Esther Dunegrass and share a meal, communicating that they have been taking care of her. They leave you with a parting gift, a sword called Grintaker.

If conflict arises:

• And you return to Sabek with two heads having slayed both Giant Trolls, even Zalic will be impressed.
• And you are overpowered, Esther intervenes, and the Dragul will flee, allowing you to rush the Halfling girl back to Jolev.

If Urka and Songak fled Jolev, they are next met in Sabek laying waste to the city:

• If you attacked the Giant Trolls before, they will lash out, enraged:
  • Attempt to talk them down, appealing to their humanity:
    • Succeed, and befriend them now, conveying your apologies. Songak leaves you with a parting gift, a sword called Grintaker.
    • Fail, and fight for your life.
      • You are able to take them down.
      • You are crushed by them and left for dead in the streets.
  • Prepare to fight:
    • You are able to take them down.
    • You are crushed by them and left for dead in the streets.
• If you killed Urka and Songak survives her, she will attack:
  • You are able to take her down, claiming a sword called Grintaker as a trophy.
  • You are crushed by her and left for dead in the streets.
• If you befriended the pair:
  • They take a moment to greet you warmly and offer some of their loot before carrying on with their business.

If you slayed Urka and Songak in their cave near Jolev, the Demon Elsifor unleashes their angry spirit on you to fight.
