This vast, barren landscape lies beneath a constant layer of mist. Home to the Saurians, the land is dry and arid, devoid of much vegetation. A river trickles into a dry lakebed, the only visible source of water in the area. The landscape is dotted with high plateaus reaching up from the earth below.

The wasteland is surrounded on all sides by tall rock walls, making access treacherous at times. Located along one such wall is the village of Hornhelm.

The land hasn't always been a wasteland. At one time in history, it was rich and fertile, as is evident from the remaining foliage that can seen sporadically throughout the area.

…the Saurians opened a rift to Kleetoth, plane of Crystal. Water flowed into the earth and shot upward into the sky, creating an eternal fog layer above and dry lands below.
