The trail crosses the river over a stone bridge. Before reaching the embankment, you discover an old carriage. One of its doors has been torn off and is half-covered in mud. When you first arrive at the trail, you watch as a pig with a black, swan-shaped spot falls into the river just after picking up a music box in the mud:

• Jump in to save the pig and make your way to the Underwater Caverns.
• Sift through the muck and find some gold.

Lady Dorothea's final diary entry was written here, cataloguing what became of the royal Duntum family;

For all these years, the woods have been our protector. No army and no bandits could disturb Castle Carleval because none could find it. Now the forest will be our undoing.

It was the spirits who took the illuminating stone. They startled our horses and knocked over the carriage. They escaped with the stone and the map to the castle. I can only hope our children one day recover them. Otherwise, our family will lose its claim to Carleval.

Shining the Illuminating Stone on the carriage will show its former glory;

For a moment, you see it as if it were new, in perfect condition, horses pulling it down the path. A man and woman seated inside are dressed like nobles. A young boy drives the carriage and whips the horses. After a few seconds, the vision is gone. - Ghost-Eaters of the Forgotten Forest (RPA-ADV7)
