If you select Captain Giselle and the Emerald Dawn as your captain and ship, below deck out at sea, you find her performing a ritual incantation; Julius suggests you not to interrupt.

Julius presses his webbed fingers to his lips as you enter, warning you not to interfere with the ritual.

• Should you intervene, the captain will warn you that the Starlit Door will remember your transgression.
• Should you allow her to complete her summoning of the Kraken:
  • And slay it, Giselle will harvest it for its healing properties and thank you for your contribution to her mission.
  • And fail to kill it, the Emerald Dawn will be destroyed and you will be rescued by Captain Kaemon, taken aboard the Iron Tide.
