A small gatehouse is situated near the gates. Palace Guards greet visitors from within. Scratches on the walls inside bear testament to the boredom that sometimes comes with the job.

With the explosion at Taron's Arena, former contestants have started to swarm the city. A group of Goblins and a massive Ogre battle with the Palace Guards outside of the gates.

• Join the Palace Guard and fight the Dragul.
• Join the Ogre and Goblins in their fight.

A crackling purple rift hangs in the sky overhead. It is quite unsettling.

As time freezes around you, you discover Tarik Nowlin in the crowd. The gates are locked shut, forcing you to remain inside the Palace for the time being.

Sleecrath will eventually lend aid and open the potcullis for you.
