Eye of Ulos (RPA-ADV4)

Despite the chaos that reigns above her, Mindle works calmly and diligently;

You approach Mindle as she trims a low hedge along the inner garden wall. She is surprisingly calm, given the events unfolding in the palace around her. In fact, she seems happy to see you. - Eye of Ulos (RPA-ADV4)

If your repute with the King's Guard is high enough, she will trust you with the motivations of Taron and her own trust in fate;

“Fear not the doors to other worlds. They are part of what makes us who we are. I would tell King Taron the same, but I don’t think he would listen. I hear everything from this garden, you know. Taron wants to use Azema’s power to conquer all of Ulos. Even so, it’s our job to serve him, trusting that the gods will see us through in the end.
I pray you find him and help guide him to wisdom, for Nalos, for Ulos, and for all the many spokes of Azema’s wheel.“ - Eye of Ulos (RPA-ADV4)

Silver Threads of Fate (LC1)

Donning Taron's Ring and reading her thoughts reveals that Mindle had another love long ago;

The resulting flash of blue flame and the acrid scent of burnt powder remind her of fireworks at midsummer festivals centuries ago, when she watched the colorful flashes fill the night sky with a young witch from the Starlit Door. - Silver Threads of Fate (LC1)
It seems she is pining for a lost love, a witch who wore the mark of the Starlit Door. - Silver Threads of Fate (LC1)

It would seem that King Taron and Mindle also have disagreeing views from when Amalia was queen on the planes of existence and the threat they pose to Ulos;

After finding the ancient Queen Gimnax’s letters to Gulpax the Crafter, Taron became afraid of the potential power of other planes. Mindle, the gardener, assured him they were no more to be feared than the gods. Now, Taron’s mind ruminates on that old dispute. He’s still convinced that the planes must be mastered. - Silver Threads of Fate (LC1)

When reunited with Zerith, Mindle is broken free from the the time stop affecting Sabek and is overcome with emotion;

You slip Taron’s ring on your finger and listen to the Elven gardener’s thoughts, which still center on her lost love, Zerith.
Zerith steps near Mindle, and the bond between them grows stronger. The gardener is shaken loose from the bonds of time. In shock, Mindle drops her dagger and embraces Zerith. For a brief moment, the two are united again.

“I don’t know how you found me, but now I know all things are possible,” Mindle tells her, before the bonds of time take hold of her once again. - Silver Threads of Fate (LC1)

A Bogroot Orchid, native to Bogroot Swamp and fabled to possess magical properties, is found in the Palace Gardens:

  • Steal the flower when Mindle is preoccupied.
  • Ask the gardener to assist you, and she shares a spot of tea with you;
“The Bogroot Orchid grows natively in only one place in all of Nalos: the swamps near Kulbak. It’s so common there that even the prisoners use it to make their tea. Here, though, they are considered a rarity. If you stay a while, I’ll brew us a pot.” - Backstory Codex - Damaged (RPA-BC)

Separated

A mute Gnome assistant gardener notices you. He looks at your arm in shock and terrified.

  • Ask Mindle for help in speaking with the mute Gnome. She signs to the gnome who then signs back, that your sister was sent to Kulbak Prison.
  • When no one is looking intimated the gnome who then shows you that your sister was in Kulbak Prison.
