• Allow it to hatch and fight whatever comes out.
  • Slay it and it is reduced to a lifeless heap, another win for your run.
  • It bites you and is then carried off by a large guard.
• Fight the guards off and kill whatever is inside to the excitement of the crowd;

You manage to chase the guards from the arena. Once they’re gone, you drive your weapon into the cocoon and hear a soft scream from within. Green ooze spills from its soft shell into the black ash, and the cocoon slowly dissolves. - Tome of Encounters (RPA-SQ1)

A Fungoid fights with Vrax in Hoshek, Plane of Life, at the final battle of Brizoor Waal.

The completed Lord of Rot also summons numerous Fungoids in its wake.
