Hand crafted by a blacksmith, this sword gains its power from dark magic. The ritual includes spilling of blood, causing a cursed infection to spread on the unfortunate victim.

Some say the only way to cure the infection is to destroy the sword.

Pressured by a sorceress, you create an exquisite sword. Perhaps the best you have ever made. Upon completion, she cuts you deep to finish the dark ritual.

Working in Eregrun's shop, you are reminded of your work back home in Wildwood. You sadly reflect on the blade you know you should never have created. You realize your time is limited and you must destroy the blade before the infection destroys you.

Following your conflict with the Sorceress in Black, she flees and leaves the sword behind. The pain in your chest seems to lessen as you draw closer to the accursed blade.

• Keep the accursed blade. As long as you have it in your possession, you feel no pain.
• Destroy the sword and end the curse.
