Kethra's Steppe
Legends hold that a set of stairs once led to the realm of Kethra. If the stairs do exist, they have been hidden from the eyes of mortals. Its rumored location is somewhere between Redtooth Peak and Goldbelly Mountain.
Secrets of the Stairs
Concentrating the power of the sun, only then will the stairs reveal themselves to mortal eyes. A reflecting contraption on Goldbelly Mountain will be needed to start a fire on Redtooth Peak.
You consult Gulpax’s journal. One page contains a drawing of two mountain peaks. On the top of one there is an odd contraption. On the other, a roaring fire. Between the two, an ancient set of stairs rises to a whirlpool of darkness. - Ascending Kethra's Steppe (GS-ADV4)
Once summoned, with earth shattering vibrations, a set of stairs will rise from the ground. A whirling portal of darkness will appear at the top of the stairs. The portal leads to a world of floating stone islands all connected by rope and vines. Each island appears to have portals to other planes.
