The gates that lead to [[sabek_palace|Sabek Palace]]. A metal portcullis blocks the bridge leading to the [[sabek_palace|palace]]. A murky moat flows beneath, offering extra protection.

A small gatehouse is situated near the gates. [[king_s_guard|Palace Guards]] greet visitors from within. Scratches on the walls inside bear testament to the boredom that sometimes comes with the job.

With the explosion at [[taron_s_arena|Taron's Arena]], former contestants have started to swarm the city. A group of [[goblin|Goblins]] and a massive [[ogre|Ogre]] battle with the [[king_s_guard|Palace Guards]] outside of the gates.

  * Join the [[king_s_guard|Palace Guard]] and fight the [[dragul|Dragul]].
  * Join the [[ogre|Ogre]] and [[goblin|Goblins]] in their fight.

A crackling purple rift hangs in the sky overhead. It is quite unsettling.

====Silver Threads of Fate (LC1)====
As time freezes around you, you discover [[tarik_nowlin|Tarik Nowlin]] in the crowd. The gates are locked shut, forcing you to remain inside the [[sabek_palace|Palace]] for the time being.

[[sleecrath|Sleecrath]] will eventually lend aid and open the potcullis for you.
