Mowla

Female Bastja follower of the Starlit Door and member of the Undercity Thieves Guild.

Mowla is constantly aloof, but warm to those she trusts; Truly committed to her cause, Mowla is passionate about exploring the planarverse;

Mowla was fiercely devoted to the Door and its secrets. She wanted dearly to travel the planes. - Gate of Brizoor Waal (RPA-ADVF)

You first encounter Mowla at Azema's Bones in Undercity, attempting to get the jump on you:

• You anticipate her ambush:
  • You disarm her:
    • If you are in favor with Gimlix or have the good graces of the Starlit Door, she will hand over a Lead Medallion for entry into the Thieves Guild.
    • You go through her bag to find and pocket a Lead Medallion:
      • You end her life, believing her to be afflicted by vampirism.
      • You let her go.
• She gets the jump on you and escapes, dropping a Lead Medallion.

At the Library:

• If you took Mowla's life, Masik and the other Starlit Door followers will attempt to avenge her.
• If you Mowla lives, you see her again around the table with other members of the cult:
  • Side with them, and she will smile at you.
  • Oppose them, and she will fight you with the rest.

If you allowed Mowla to escape in Undercity and slayed the Starlit Door, she will fight you to the death at the Temple of Ulos in Sabek, with the Eye of Ulos at her command:

Defeat her, and claim the Eye of Ulos. Be chilled to the bone by the frigid winds of Iktel, Plane of Frost, and she will away with the artifact.

If Mowla survived your encounter with her in Sabek, she will fight in the name of the Starlit Door with an ice wyrm by her side against a Dragul Satyr and a King's Guard Halfling atop a mountain in Iktel, Plane of Frost:

• If you side with the Starlit Door, you will fight alongside her:
  • If you defeat the opposition and are favored by the Bastja, she will greet you proudly. You claim the site, and find a blue rune.
  • If you defeat the opposition and are disfavored by the Bastja, you will receive her venom but claim the site, finding a blue rune.
  • If you fall to the opposition, you stumble through a rift back to Elsifor's Tent at Brizoor Waal in defeat.
