Searching some nearby [[underwater_caverns|caverns]] you discover skeletal remains of ill fated [[miner|miners]]. Some of their corpses still carry mining tools and other equipment. Clearly they had been mining gems as you find a few lying nearby. Perhaps they will help fund your current quest.
==== The Hive (GS-ADV3) ====

While assisting the [[dwarf|Dwarven]] miners, you discover an unclaimed set of mining tools nearby.

Rebeling [[insectoid|Insectoids]] may attempt to use their tools as they attack [[borid|Borid]] and the [[dwarf|Dwarven]] miners.

After placing a small shovel into a boiling pot of water you discover a [[dwarf|Dwarvish]] message etched into the steal. It reads "Death to the [[hive|Hive]]".

Using a chisel from your satchel, you manage to discover a rusty metal box hidden in the walls of the [[sacred_caverns|sacred caverns]]. Inside the box you find an [[khathandor_s_horn|ivory horn]]. It immediately catches the eye of [[khathandor|Khathandor]].

Standing before the statue of [[grond|Grond]], you present your mining tools as an offering to the [[deities|god]] of steel and alloys.
