[[human|Human]] mother to [[arnon|Arnon]], a young man afflicted with the [[lycanthropy|Werewolf's curse]]. She is willing to go to any length to protect and find a cure for her son.

A member of the [[death-worshippers|Death-Worshippers]], Earta bears the telltale tattoo of the cult: a skull with the numeral "3" written over it.

An [[orc|Orc]] patient admitted to the [[house_of_alarkus|House of Alarkus]] for his injuries from a [[werewolf|Werewolf]] attack at the [[festival_of_heroes|Festival of Heroes]] commends Earta's potioneering skill;

>//“You just missed her,” he explains. “Strange woman. Made me drink a potion that tasted like mud and earthworms. Not sure it did anything for my wounds, but it settled my stomach a bit.”// - Festival of Heroes (GS-ADV1)

An [[elf|Elf]] noble at the [[house of alarkus|House of Alarkus]] also characterizes Earta as strange, reporting that she may even be staying at the Temple of Shintal;

Later, you find Earta in the [[temple_of_shintal|Temple of Shintal]], mixing together herbs and spices in an attempt to cure her son [[arnon|Arnon]]. A confrontation with her and her son will transpire.
  * The wolf reverts to [[human|Human]] form.
    * Set them both free.
    * Kill the [[werewolf|Werewolf]].
  * He chases you from the temple.

==== The Hive (GS-ADV3)====
Exploring the [[insectoid|Insectoid]] [[hive|Hive]], you may stumble upon Earta. She, like her son, has begun to transform into a [[werewolf|Werewolf]]. Overpowering an [[insectoid|Insectoid]] guard, she drags him into a dark tunnel. She begs you to spare her as she is convinced she has found a cure. - Explorer's Guide (GS-Guide-ADV3-1)

  * Rescue the [[insectoid|Insectoid]]. She escapes deeper into the cave.
  * Help find a cure. In gratitude, she gives you a container of the foul smelling concoction.
