Known as the "Second Born" of the [[vampire|Vampires]]. Considered the last great ruler of the [[vampire|Vampires]]. Was laid to rest in an abandoned [[dwarf|Dwarven]] tomb found beneath the [[insectoid|Insectoid]] [[Hive|Hive]].

Making eye contact with her victims, she is often able to hypnotize those who challenge her, slowing their moves and their thoughts.

There are those living in [[ulos|Ulos]] who believe stories of Adlan's power are simply "ghost stories" told to children to keep them in line. - The Hive (GS-ADV3)

==== The Hive (GS-ADV3)====
Buried beneath the [[insectoid|Insectoid]] Hive, Adlan lifts herself from the stone coffin in a weakened state. [[yuvan_rokta|Yuvan Rokta]] stands above her with a wooden stake while an ancient [[bone_golem|Bone Golem]] approaches from the other side. - Explorers Guide (GS-Guide-ADV3-24)

  * Protect [[yuvan_rokta|Rokta]] from the golem.
  * Defend the [[vampire|Vampire]] from [[yuvan_rokta|Rokta]].

In either case, one of two possible outcomes will present themself.
  * [[yuvan_rokta|Rokta]] is able to complete his mission, plunging his stake into Adlan's heart. Drinking her blood, he inherits her powers.
  * [[yuvan_rokta|Rokta]] fails at his mission. Knowing he is beaten, he submits to Adlan, allowing her sink her fangs into his neck and becoming one of her thralls.

Entering an abandoned dwelling, you will discover [[yuvan_rokta|Yuvan Rokta]] hiding in the shadows. He may not be alone. You watch as Adlan, standing behind him, drinks blood from the neck of a local [[saurian|Saurian]]. - Explorers Guide (GS-Guide-ADV5-7)

  * Attempt to slay Adlan.
    * Killing her frees [[yuvan_rokta|Rokta]] from her powers, but also makes him the eldest living [[vampire|Vampire]] in [[ulos|Ulos]].
    * Losing your nerve and fleeing leaves [[yuvan_rokta|Rokta]] under her control.
  * Knowing you don't stand a chance, flee and leave [[yuvan_rokta|Rokta]] to his fate.


==== The Scrying Pool (GS-Epilogue)====
Rumors about Adlan abound. While many citizens believe she died, for a second time, at the hands of [[yuvan_rokta|Yuvon Rokta]], not everyone is convinced. Some rumors claim that following the [[battle_of_the_arcazion_pit|Battle of the Arcazion Pit]], she became a powerful queen with [[yuvan_rokta|Yuvan Rokta]] serving under her.
