Legends hold that a set of stairs once led to the realm of [[kethra|Kethra]]. If the stairs do exist, they have been hidden from the eyes of mortals. Its rumored location is somewhere between [[redtooth_peak|Redtooth Peak]] and [[goldbelly_mountain|Goldbelly Mountain]].

==== Secrets of the Stairs ====

Concentrating the power of the sun, only then will the stairs reveal themselves to mortal eyes. A reflecting contraption on [[goldbelly_mountain|Goldbelly Mountain]] will be needed to start a fire on [[redtooth_peak|Redtooth Peak]].

Once summoned, with earth shattering vibrations, a set of stairs will rise from the ground. A whirling portal of darkness will appear at the top of the stairs. The portal leads to a world of floating stone islands all connected by [[rope|rope]] and vines. Each island appears to have portals to other [[planes|planes]].
